The Episode 21 NPC package controls maps, monster spawns, portals, quests, and NPCs. Monster drops are controlled separately by:

This guide explains how to unlock Yorscalp, collect the required Episode 21 materials, and create a Yorscalp Glove [1].

Important Requirements

  • Recommended Base Level: 250 or higher
  • Episode 20 must be completed before starting Episode 21.
  • Complete the Episode 21 main story before attempting to enter the Yorscalp farming maps.
  • The character must have Episode 21 completion quest 18360 completed.
  • Yorscalp maps do not allow normal Warp or Fly Wing use. Purchase the special Yorscalp Fly Wing from the Wigner Merchant Operator.

Required Materials for Yorscalp Glove [1]

The server exchange window currently requires:

Important: The conversion also requires the corresponding Gaebolg Glove [1] as the base equipment. Cards, enchants, grade, and other retained properties depend on the server's item-reform configuration.

Material Summary

  • Encroached Fruit (Item ID: 103523) is an Episode 21 consumable and Yorscalp exchange material. It is not one of the four requirements displayed for the Yorscalp Glove conversion shown above.
  • Shape of Fallen Serpent (Item ID: 1001834) is a rare Yorscalp material.
  • Symbol of Curse (Item ID: 1001835) is dropped by normal and boss monsters in Yorscalp.
  • Spirit of Yorscalp (Item ID: 1001836) is mainly obtained from higher-level Yorscalp monsters and bosses.

Step 1: Start Episode 21

Go to Diver Fapa: 

/navi jor_tail 233/41

Talk to Diver Fapa and choose to travel to Scale Island.

Requirements:

  • Base Level 230 or higher
  • Episode 20 completed

Diver Fapa transports the character to: 

/navi jor_crk 137/137

Continue the Episode 21 main quest by following the quest markers through Scale Island, the past timeline, Lunaforma, and the Gaebolg Resistance storyline.

Step 2: Complete the Episode 21 Main Story

Continue the main story until quest 18360 is completed. This is important because the Yorscalp entrance and the Episode 21 equipment NPCs check Episode 21 completion.

After completion, the following services become available:

  • Yorscalp entrance
  • Wigner Merchant Operator
  • Blacksmith Sansan
  • Episode 21 equipment exchange, reform, and enchant services

Step 3: Enter Yorscalp

Travel to Raised Land First Floor:

Walk onto the portal at approximately: 

/navi jor_raise1 113/334

The portal sends the character to Yorscalp First Floor:

The return portal is located near: 

/navi jor_sklf1 303/170

Note: The entrance only works after Episode 21 is completed.

Step 4: Yorscalp First Floor

Map:

Monsters appearing on the first floor include:

  • Monster ID 22414 - Awake Yordos Executor
  • Monster ID 22415 - Awake Yordos Judge
  • Monster ID 22416 - Awake Yordos Investigator
  • Monster ID 22417 - Awake Yormi
  • Monster ID 22418 - Awake Yormi Missionary
  • Monster ID 22421 - Awake Judge Yortus, floor boss

The normal monsters can provide Symbol of Curse, depending on the server's Renewal monster database. The floor boss is an important source of the rarer Yorscalp materials.

First-floor boss information from the Episode 21 script:

  • Monster ID 22419 - Awake Yoscopus Guardian
  • Monster ID 22420 - Awake Yoscopus Warlock
  • Monster ID 22422 - Awake Yortus Executor, floor boss

Recommended targets:

  • Farm normal monsters for Symbol of Curse.
  • Farm higher Yorscalp monsters for Spirit of Yorscalp.
  • Hunt the first-floor and second-floor bosses for Encroached Fruit, Spirit of Yorscalp, Symbol of Curse, and rare Yorscalp materials, according to the server's monster-drop database.

Step 7: How to Obtain Each Material

Encroached Fruit - Item ID 103523

Primary Episode 21 source:

  • Awake Judge Yortus, Monster ID 22421, Yorscalp First Floor
  • Awake Yortus Executor, Monster ID 22422, Yorscalp Second Floor
  • Some Yorscalp normal monsters may also drop it at a lower rate, depending on the server database.

Suggested route:

# Hunt the First Floor boss on jor_sklf1.
# Move through one of the four passages to jor_sklf2.
# Hunt the Second Floor boss.

Shape of Fallen Serpent - Item ID 1001834

This is a rare Yorscalp material. Farm the awakened Yorscalp monsters and both Yorscalp floor bosses. The exact drop rates are controlled by the server's db/re/mob_db.yml rather than the Episode 21 NPC script.

Recommended targets:

  • Monster ID 22420 - Awake Yoscopus Warlock
  • Monster ID 22421 - Awake Judge Yortus
  • Monster ID 22422 - Awake Yortus Executor

Symbol of Curse - Item ID 1001835

This material is available from the Yorscalp monster family. Normal monsters generally provide lower chances, while the two Yorscalp bosses provide better chances.

Recommended targets:

  • Monster IDs 22412 to 22420
  • Boss Monster ID 22421
  • Boss Monster ID 22422

Spirit of Yorscalp - Item ID 1001836

Recommended targets:

  • Monster ID 22420 - Awake Yoscopus Warlock
  • Monster ID 22421 - Awake Judge Yortus
  • Monster ID 22422 - Awake Yortus Executor

Because 200 pieces are required, farming the Yorscalp bosses and higher monsters is recommended.

Wigner Merchant Guild Voucher - Item ID 1001618

Wigner Merchant Guild Vouchers are obtained from Episode 21 main quests, side quests, daily quests, weekly quests, instances, and Episode 21 activities. Repeat Episode 21 daily and weekly missions until the required 300 vouchers are collected.

The mission board includes daily and weekly missions for both Yorscalp floors. These missions become available after Episode 21 completion.

Step 8: Buy Special Yorscalp Fly Wings

Go to the Wigner Merchant Operator: 

/navi mbase_in 232/122

Select: 

Buy Yorscalp Fly Wings

Normal teleport items do not work on Yorscalp because both Yorscalp maps have the nowarp map flag.

Step 9: Create the Yorscalp Glove

Go to Blacksmith Sansan: 

/navi mbase_in 232/125

Talk to Blacksmith Sansan and choose: 

Jorscalp Equipment Upgrade

The script spells the location as "Jorscalp," but the equipment name is Yorscalp.

Select the Gaebolg Glove and confirm the conversion after preparing:

  • 1 Gaebolg Glove [1]
  • 300 Wigner Merchant Guild Vouchers
  • 10 Shape of Fallen Serpent
  • 50 Symbol of Curse
  • 200 Spirit of Yorscalp

The output is:

Troubleshooting

The Yorscalp entrance does nothing

The character has probably not completed Episode 21. Complete quest 18360 first.

The Wigner Merchant Operator or Blacksmith Sansan does nothing

Both NPCs are locked until Episode 21 completion. Verify that quest 18360 is completed.

Server File Review Result

The supplied Episode 21 package already contains:

  • Yorscalp First Floor and Second Floor warps
  • The Episode 21 completion check
  • Yorscalp monster spawns, Monster IDs 22412 to 22422
  • The Wigner Merchant Operator at mbase_in 232,122
  • Blacksmith Sansan at mbase_in 232,125
  • First-floor and second-floor Yorscalp bosses

No Episode 21 quest file needs to be removed.

The four material IDs do not appear directly in the supplied Episode 21 scripts because item drops and equipment-reform requirements are database-controlled. Before modifying an Episode 21 NPC file, verify the Renewal item database, monster database, item-reform database, and barter shop data.

Quick Farming Checklist

  1. Complete Episode 20.
  2. Start Episode 21 at /navi jor_tail 233/41.
  3. Complete Episode 21 through quest 18360.
  4. Enter Yorscalp at /navi jor_raise1 113/334.
  5. Farm jor_sklf1 and jor_sklf2.

  10. Select Jorscalp Equipment Upgrade and create Yorscalp Glove [1].
