Card Recycler Guide

The GladiusRO Card Recycler allows players to fuse unwanted cards for one random reward.

Quick Requirements

To perform one fusion, prepare:

• 5 different Normal Cards
• 3 different Boss/MVP Cards
• 100 Mission Points
• 20,000,000 Zeny
• At least 2 free inventory slots

Important: All required cards must be loose cards in the character inventory. Cards inserted into equipment are not accepted. Cards in Storage or Cart are not counted.

Card Consumption Rules

Normal Cards

• All 5 selected Normal Cards are permanently consumed after a successful fusion.
• Normal Cards will not be returned.

Boss/MVP Cards

• All 3 selected Boss/MVP Cards are submitted for fusion.
• Each Boss/MVP Card receives its own independent 50% return chance.
• A successful return roll places that specific card back into the player's inventory.
• A failed return roll permanently consumes that specific card.

Because the return chance is rolled separately for all three cards, the player may receive back:

• All 3 Boss/MVP Cards
• Any 2 Boss/MVP Cards
• Any 1 Boss/MVP Card
• No Boss/MVP Cards

Note: The 50% return chance applies only to the 3 submitted Boss/MVP Cards. It does not change the fusion reward rate.

How to Use the Card Recycler

1. Go to Prontera (164, 158).
2. Talk to the GladiusRO Card Recycler.
3. Read the requirements and select Start Fusion.
4. Select 5 different Normal Cards.
5. Select 3 different Boss/MVP Cards.
6. Review the selected cards carefully.
7. Confirm the cost of 100 Mission Points and 20,000,000 Zeny.
8. Select Confirm permanent Fusion.
9. The NPC will validate the cards, Mission Points, Zeny and inventory space.
10. After successful validation, the required payment and cards will be processed.
11. Each submitted Boss/MVP Card will receive a separate 50% return roll.
12. The NPC will display which Boss/MVP Cards were returned.
13. The player will receive exactly one fusion reward result.

Fusion Reward Rates

Each successful fusion gives exactly one reward tier:

Note: The reward rates total 100%. Only one reward tier is selected per successful fusion. A tier that rewards two cards provides both cards as one result.

Accepted Card Rules

• The 5 Normal Cards must have different item IDs.
• The 3 Boss/MVP Cards must have different item IDs.
• Cards must be in the character's normal inventory.
• Cards inserted into equipment are not accepted.
• Cards in Storage, Guild Storage or Cart are not counted.
• Rental, expired, bound or unusual card instances may be rejected.
• Enchant items that look like cards are not accepted as monster cards.

Mission Points and Zeny

For every successful fusion:

• 100 Mission Points are deducted from the player's account Mission Point balance.
• 20,000,000 Zeny is deducted from the character.

If the player does not have enough Mission Points or Zeny, nothing will be consumed.

Safety and Validation

Fusion is cancelled without consuming anything if:

• The player has fewer than 5 eligible Normal Cards.
• The player has fewer than 3 eligible Boss/MVP Cards.
• A selected card is missing before final confirmation.
• Duplicate cards are selected within the same required category.
• The player has fewer than 100 Mission Points.
• The player has fewer than 20,000,000 Zeny.
• The inventory does not have sufficient free space.
• Another fusion request is already being processed.
• The server card database is unavailable or incomplete.

Example

A player submits:

• 5 different Normal Cards
• 3 different Boss/MVP Cards
• 100 Mission Points
• 20,000,000 Zeny

After successful fusion:

• All 5 Normal Cards are permanently consumed.
• Boss/MVP Card A passes its 50% roll and is returned.
• Boss/MVP Card B fails its 50% roll and is consumed.
• Boss/MVP Card C passes its 50% roll and is returned.
• The player receives one reward based on the fusion reward table.

In this example, the player receives back 2 of the 3 submitted Boss/MVP Cards.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I use five copies of the same Normal Card?

No. The NPC requires 5 different Normal Cards.

Can I use three copies of the same Boss or MVP Card?

No. The NPC requires 3 different Boss/MVP Cards.

Are all Boss/MVP Cards returned together?

No. Each submitted Boss/MVP Card has its own independent 50% return roll.

Is at least one Boss/MVP Card guaranteed to return?

No. It is possible for none of the three cards to be returned.

Can all three Boss/MVP Cards be returned?

Yes. Each card is rolled separately, so all three can be returned.

Are the five Normal Cards ever returned?

No. All five selected Normal Cards are permanently consumed after successful fusion.

Does the 50% Boss/MVP return chance reduce my reward?

No. The Boss/MVP return rolls are separate from the fusion reward roll.

Can I use cards inserted into equipment?

No. Only loose, eligible cards in the character inventory are accepted.

What happens if I cancel before final confirmation?

Nothing is consumed. Cards, Mission Points and Zeny are processed only after final confirmation and successful validation.

Why does the NPC say I do not have enough eligible cards?

Check that:

• All required cards are loose in the character inventory.
• All selected cards are different.
• The items are actual monster cards.
• The cards are not rental, expired or special item instances.
• The required cards are not in Storage or Cart.

Player Checklist

• I have 5 different Normal Cards.
• I have 3 different Boss/MVP Cards.
• I have at least 100 Mission Points.
• I have at least 20,000,000 Zeny.
• All cards are loose in my character inventory.
