Welcome to the GladiusRO Mining PvP area. This guide explains how to farm Variant Minerals, the available rewards, reward chances, quantities, access limits, and PvP restrictions.

== Quick Summary ==
'''Warning:''' PvP is enabled. Other players may attack you while you are mining.

* Defeat '''Variant Mineral''' monsters on an eligible Mining PvP map.
== Mining Access ==
* VIP and Non-VIP players have the same reward chances and quantities.
* Normal material chance: '''40% per Variant Mineral kill'''.
* Golden Diamond Box (Item ID: 102806) chance: '''20% per Variant Mineral kill'''.
* Golden Diamond Box quantity: '''1 to 5 boxes''' when successful.
* The material and Golden Diamond Box rewards are rolled independently.
* A player may receive both rewards from the same kill.
* Active VIP players have unlimited mining time.
* Non-VIP and expired VIP players may mine for up to 2 hours per account each day.

== How to Farm ==
* '''Normal Player / Expired VIP:''' Maximum 2 hours per account per calendar day.
* '''Active GladiusRO VIP:''' Unlimited mining time while VIP remains active.
* The normal-player limit is shared by all characters on the same account.
* VIP affects access time only. VIP and Non-VIP players have identical reward chances.

'''Important:''' Because the reward checks are independent, a very lucky player can receive more than one reward category from the same kill.

=== Normal Mining Material ===
== Reward Summary ==
Every Variant Mineral kill has a '''40% chance''' to award one normal mining material. This chance is the same for Active VIP, Non-VIP, and expired VIP players.

=== Golden Diamond Box ===
== Regular Material Rewards ==
Every Variant Mineral kill has a separate '''20% chance''' to award Golden Diamond Box, Item ID '''102806'''. A successful roll awards a random quantity from '''1 to 5 boxes'''. Each quantity from 1 to 5 has an equal chance.
Each mineral kill has a '''40.00% chance''' to award one type of material. If this check succeeds, the material is selected using the table below.

The Golden Diamond Box does not replace the normal material reward. A player can receive both rewards from the same Variant Mineral.

== Possible Result From One Kill ==
Because both rolls are independent:

* Normal material and Golden Diamond Box: '''8%'''
* Normal material only: '''32%'''
* Golden Diamond Box only: '''12%'''
* No reward: '''48%'''

These are long-term probabilities. They do not guarantee a reward after a fixed number of kills.

== Normal Material Reward List ==
If the 40% material roll succeeds, one material is selected from this table:

The effective chance includes the initial 40% material success roll. Example: Rough Oridecon has a 14% selection chance after material success, so its effective chance per kill is 40% x 14% = 5.60%.
The '''effective chance per kill''' includes the initial 40% material-success check.

The Golden Diamond Box has a separate roll from regular materials and ultra-rare items. Receiving a box does not prevent another reward from succeeding on the same kill.

Each item below has its own independent '''0.10% chance per Variant Mineral kill''':

* Unlimited mining time while VIP remains active.
* '''6993:''' Safe to +10 Weapon Refine Ticket, quantity 1
* Same 40% material chance as Non-VIP players.
* '''6994:''' Safe to +10 Armor Refine Ticket, quantity 1
* Same 20% Golden Diamond Box chance as Non-VIP players.
* '''6153:''' Special Exchange Coupon, quantity 1
* Same reward quantities as Non-VIP players.

=== Non-VIP or Expired VIP Player ===
These are the hardest mining rewards to obtain. Every successful ultra-rare drop triggers a server-wide announcement showing the lucky player's name and item.

* Maximum mining time: '''2 hours per account per calendar day'''.
The 0.10% chance is applied '''separately to each item'''. It is not a shared 0.10% pool. In an extremely rare case, more than one special item may succeed from the same kill.
* The limit is shared by all characters on the same account.
* Entering reserves the next 60-second mining access block.
* Leaving early does not refund the reserved block.
* Daily usage resets according to the server's local calendar date.
* The player is returned to Prontera when the daily limit is reached.

== Probability Notice ==
Rewards are calculated independently for each Variant Mineral kill. A 40% or 20% chance does not guarantee a reward within a particular number of kills. Lucky and unlucky streaks are normal.
Rates may be adjusted for server balancing, maintenance, or special events. Refer to the latest GladiusRO announcement if the in-game settings change.

Variant Mineral

Welcome to the GladiusRO Mining PvP Area. Defeat Variant Mineral monsters to obtain refining materials, Golden Diamond Boxes, and ultra-rare lucky rewards.

Warning: PvP is enabled. Other players may attack you while you are mining.

Mining Access

  • Normal Player / Expired VIP: Maximum 2 hours per account per calendar day.
  • Active GladiusRO VIP: Unlimited mining time while VIP remains active.
  • The normal-player limit is shared by all characters on the same account.
  • VIP affects access time only. VIP and Non-VIP players have identical reward chances.

How to Mine

  1. Enter a supported Mining PvP map.
  2. Find and defeat a Variant Mineral.
  3. Each mineral respawns after approximately 3 seconds at a random valid position.
  4. Every kill performs separate checks for regular materials, the Golden Diamond Box, and each ultra-rare item.

Important: Because the reward checks are independent, a very lucky player can receive more than one reward category from the same kill.

Material Quantity

When a regular material is awarded, its quantity is selected as follows:

Quantity Chance
1 25%
2 20%
3 15%
4 10%
5 8%
6 7%
7 5%
8 4%
9 3%
10 3%

Lower quantities are intentionally more common.

Golden Diamond Box

  • Chance: 15.00% per Variant Mineral kill
  • Quantity: 1 to 5
  • Server announcement: Yes

The Golden Diamond Box has a separate roll from regular materials and ultra-rare items. Receiving a box does not prevent another reward from succeeding on the same kill.

Ultra-Rare Lucky Rewards

Each item below has its own independent 0.10% chance per Variant Mineral kill:

  • 6993: Safe to +10 Weapon Refine Ticket, quantity 1
  • 6994: Safe to +10 Armor Refine Ticket, quantity 1
  • 6153: Special Exchange Coupon, quantity 1

These are the hardest mining rewards to obtain. Every successful ultra-rare drop triggers a server-wide announcement showing the lucky player's name and item.

The 0.10% chance is applied separately to each item. It is not a shared 0.10% pool. In an extremely rare case, more than one special item may succeed from the same kill.

  • PvP is enabled.
  • Party and guild members are not automatically protected from PvP combat.
  • Teleportation is disabled.
  • Memo is disabled.

  3. Special Exchange Coupon at 0.10%.
  4. Golden Diamond Box at 15.00%.
