Halloween Curse The character dies
Mischievous Ghost Lose up to 50,000 Zeny

If the character has less than 50,000 Zeny, the Mischievous Ghost removes only the available Zeny. The character's Zeny will not become negative.

A Trick does not award Pumpkin Spirits.

= Inventory Requirement

Keep enough inventory space and weight capacity before playing Trick or Treat. If the selected item reward cannot be carried, the attempt is returned and the player can free inventory space before trying again.

Prontera Halloween Invasion

Halloween monsters automatically invade Prontera every three hours.

= Invasion Schedule

The invasion starts at the following server times:

  • 00:00
  • 03:00
  • 06:00
  • 09:00
  • 12:00
  • 15:00
  • 18:00
  • 21:00

The schedule follows the game server's clock.

= How the Invasion Works

  1. A server-wide announcement warns players that Prontera is under attack.
  2. A first wave of 45 Halloween monsters appears throughout Prontera.
  3. Players must defeat all 45 first-wave monsters.
  4. After the first wave is cleared, the Pumpkin Lord appears near prontera 156,182.
  5. Players must defeat the Pumpkin Lord before the invasion timer expires.

The invasion lasts for up to 10 minutes. If the invasion is not completed within 10 minutes, the Pumpkin Lord escapes and the invasion ends.

= First-Wave Monsters

Monster Quantity
Pumpkin Poring 20
Spooky Familiar 15
Restless Skeleton 10
Total 45

= Invasion Rewards

  • Each first-wave invasion monster personally defeated gives 1 Pumpkin Spirit.
  • The character who defeats the Pumpkin Lord receives 20 Pumpkin Spirits.
  • The character who defeats the Pumpkin Lord also receives 1 Gift Box.

Only the character credited with the kill receives the corresponding personal reward.

= Checking the Invasion

Speak to the Halloween Festival NPC and select Invasion Status to see:

  • Whether an invasion is active
  • How many first-wave monsters remain
  • A reminder about the Pumpkin Lord

= Invasion Tips

  • Gather in Prontera shortly before a scheduled invasion.
  • Spread out to locate first-wave monsters quickly.
  • Watch the remaining-monster count through Invasion Status.
  • Regroup near 156,182 when the first wave is almost cleared.
  • Defeat the Pumpkin Lord before the 10-minute limit.

Festival Milestones

Festival Milestones reward the account for reaching specific Lifetime Spirits Earned totals.

= How Milestones Work

  • Milestones use Lifetime Spirits Earned, not the current Pumpkin Spirit balance.
  • Spending Pumpkin Spirits does not remove milestone progress.
  • Each milestone reward can be received only once per account.
  • Milestone rewards are granted when the event checks the player's progress after earning qualifying Trick or Treat or Daily Hunt Spirits.
  • A server-wide announcement appears when a milestone is reached.

Persistence and Server Reload Information

The following account information is designed to remain saved through script reloads, server restarts, and server compilation:

  • Pumpkin Spirit balance
  • Lifetime Spirits Earned
  • Daily Hunt selection and progress
  • Daily Trick or Treat status
  • Daily Hunt completion record
  • Invasion kill record
  • Pumpkin Lord kill record
  • Claimed Festival Milestones

An invasion that is currently active may end if the map server is restarted or scripts are reloaded because active monsters are temporary map-server entities. Saved player progress and account rewards remain unaffected.

Important Rules

  • Daily activities reset according to the server date.
  • The Daily Pumpkin Hunt is available once per account per server day.
  • Trick or Treat is available once per account per server day.
  • Daily Hunt difficulty cannot be changed after selection until the daily reset.
  • Only personally credited kills count for Daily Hunt and invasion kill rewards.
  • The Pumpkin Lord reward goes to the character credited with the defeating blow.
  • Trick or Treat can cause character death, Blind status, or Zeny loss.
  • Always keep sufficient inventory space before receiving item rewards.
  • Event times use server time and may differ from local time.

Frequently Asked Questions

= Where is the Halloween Festival NPC?

The Halloween Festival NPC is in Prontera at 147,187.

= Why are my Daily Hunt kills not counting?

Check that:

  • A Daily Pumpkin Hunt was accepted.
  • The character is on an eligible Chapter 1 map.
  • The character personally defeated the monster.
  • The daily target has not already been completed.

= Can Daily Hunt difficulty be changed?

No. After choosing Easy, Normal, or Hard, the selection remains until the next server-day reset.

= Can more than one Daily Hunt be completed each day?

No. Only one Daily Pumpkin Hunt can be completed per account per server day.

= Can Trick or Treat be played repeatedly?

No. Trick or Treat is available once per account per server day.

= Does choosing Treat guarantee a reward?

No. The final result is random. Selecting Trick or Treat does not guarantee Jackpot, Sweet Treat, or Trick.

= Can Jackpot items repeat?

Yes. Every Jackpot item is selected randomly from the six-item pool, so duplicate item IDs can be received.

= What happens if the character cannot carry a Treat item?

The attempt is returned. Free inventory weight and space, then speak to the NPC and try again.

= Can the Trick Zeny penalty make Zeny negative?

No. The penalty removes up to 50,000 Zeny. If the character has less than 50,000 Zeny, only the available amount is removed.

= Do Pumpkin Spirits occupy inventory space?

No. Pumpkin Spirits are account event currency and do not use inventory slots.

= Does buying a shop reward reduce milestone progress?

No. The shop reduces the current Pumpkin Spirit balance, but milestones use Lifetime Spirits Earned.

= How can invasion status be checked?

Speak to the Halloween Festival NPC and select Invasion Status. Announcements are also displayed when an invasion starts and when the Pumpkin Lord appears.

= What happens if the invasion is not completed in time?

The invasion ends after 10 minutes, the temporary invasion monsters are removed, and the Pumpkin Lord escapes.

= Will @reloadscript remove Pumpkin Spirits or milestone claims?

No. Saved account progress remains. However, an active invasion may stop because temporary spawned monsters are removed during a script reload.
