VIP and Non-VIP Player Comparison
GladiusRO is designed to provide a fair and enjoyable experience for every player.
VIP Membership is completely optional. VIP players receive additional convenience features and progression bonuses, while non-VIP players can continue playing, farming, completing content, participating in events, and progressing normally.
VIP Membership does not guarantee victory, rare items, boss kills, PvP wins, or automatic character progression. Player knowledge, equipment, strategy, preparation, and teamwork remain important for everyone.

Fair Play for Everyone
VIP Membership provides additional convenience, saves time, and supports faster progression. However, non-VIP players are not prevented from enjoying the main gameplay experience.
All players can still:
- Level their characters normally
- Farm monsters and collect item drops
- Complete quests and instances
- Hunt MVP and boss monsters
- Join server events
- Trade with other players
- Form parties and guilds
- Improve equipment
- Participate in PvE and PvP content, subject to the applicable event rules
- Access regular maps and standard game features
- Earn rewards through normal gameplay
Why Non-VIP Gameplay Remains Fair
- No guaranteed victory: VIP Membership does not automatically defeat monsters, bosses, or other players.
- No guaranteed rare drops: A drop-rate bonus improves opportunity, but it does not guarantee that a rare item will drop.
- Standard progression remains available: Non-VIP players can continue levelling, farming, questing, and improving equipment normally.
- Daily convenience is still provided: Non-VIP players receive up to 2 hours of @autoattack usage and up to 5 hours of mining-area access per day.
- Skill and preparation still matter: Character builds, equipment, strategy, consumables, party composition, and player knowledge remain important.
- No membership requirement for normal play: Players are not required to purchase VIP Membership to enjoy and progress through the server.

How to Purchase VIP
- Go to the GladiusRO VIP NPC at Prontera 154, 187.
- Speak to the NPC.
- Select Buy / Extend GladiusRO VIP.
- Choose the required VIP package.
- Review the package duration, price, and remaining Cash Point balance.
- Select Confirm Purchase.
- If the purchase is successful, the VIP duration will be activated immediately.
Important: You must have enough Cash Points to complete the purchase. The NPC will show your current balance before confirmation.
Extending an Existing VIP Membership
Players do not need to wait for their current VIP Membership to expire. When another package is purchased while VIP is active, the new duration is added to the remaining VIP time. Existing VIP time is preserved.
Example: If you have 3 days remaining and purchase a 7-Day package, your VIP Membership will have approximately 10 days remaining.
How to Check VIP Status
Speak to the GladiusRO VIP NPC and select Check GladiusRO VIP Status. The NPC displays:
- Whether the VIP Membership is ACTIVE or NOT ACTIVE
- Current Cash Point balance
- VIP expiry date and time
- Exact remaining duration in days, hours, minutes, and seconds
VIP Membership Benefits
Active VIP players receive:
- Base EXP and Job EXP bonus
- Item drop bonus
- Battle Manual enhancement
- Gemstone requirement benefit
- Unlimited usage time for

VIP Mount Information
Active VIP players may use:
@mount2
The @mount2 mount is available only while VIP Membership is active.
When VIP expires:
- The VIP mount is removed automatically.
- The server checks the VIP mount approximately once every 60 seconds while the character is online.
- If VIP expires while the player is offline, the mount is removed when the character logs in.
- Normal class mounts, including Peco, Dragon, Warg, and Madogear, are not affected.
To use @mount2 again, activate a new VIP Membership and enter the command again.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I extend VIP before it expires?
Yes. Newly purchased VIP time is added to the existing remaining duration.
Can I purchase VIP using Zeny?
No. VIP Membership packages are purchased using Cash Points.
What happens if I do not have enough Cash Points?
The purchase is not completed. The NPC shows the required amount and available balance.
Is the VIP mount permanent?
No. The @mount2 mount is available only while VIP Membership is active.
Will VIP expiry remove my normal class mount?
No. The automatic check only removes the universal Cash Shop mount used by @mount2.
Where can I see my VIP expiry time?
Speak to the GladiusRO VIP NPC and select Check GladiusRO VIP Status.
