Episode 18: Direction of Prayer

This guide explains the current GladiusRO Episode 18 progression, Gray Wolf Village reputation, major side quests, daily quests, rewards, and Episode 19 transition.

Main Quest Walkthrough

Part 1: Trouble in Rachel

1. Go to Masked Girl at Template:Navi.
2. Equip Mini Elly when requested.
3. Speak to Nervous Priest Junok at Template:Navi.
4. Complete the crowd and guard scene.
5. Go to the temple entrance at Template:Navi.
6. Speak to Junok, then follow the guards to Template:Navi.
7. Enter the temple and speak to:
   • Guard Dent: Template:Navi
   • Guard Neil: Template:Navi
   • Priest Freya: Template:Navi
   • High Priestess Niren: Template:Navi

Part 2: Finding Maram

1. Ask the villagers in this order:
   • Template:Navi
   • Template:Navi
   • Template:Navi
2. Find Maram at Template:Navi.
3. Speak to Miriam at Template:Navi.
4. Visit the merchants:
   • Merchant Sreen: Template:Navi
   • Merchant Sannat: Template:Navi
   • Discussion point: Template:Navi
   • Maram: Template:Navi
5. Agree to help purchase supplies.
6. Visit Merchant Rencia at Template:Navi.
7. Select Said to be at the tavern when asked where the other merchants are.
8. Speak to Miriam at Template:Navi.
9. Eat the dumplings at Template:Navi.
10. Speak to Mark at Template:Navi.
11. Return to Maram at Template:Navi.
12. Inform Rencia that you are ready to depart.
13. Collect the goods at Template:Navi.

Part 3: Journey to Gray Wolf Village

1. Meet the group at Template:Navi.
2. Continue toward Template:Navi.
3. Complete the required Maze of Oz story instance.
4. Speak to Maram near Template:Navi.
5. Continue to Template:Navi.
6. Speak to Imril at Template:Navi.
7. Enter Gray Wolf Village and speak to Imril at Template:Navi.

Gray Wolf Village Reputation

The main story pauses at approximately ep18_main 36. Earn 1,000 Reputation by completing Gray Wolf Village side quests and daily quests.

When you reach 1,000 Reputation:

• The villagers accept you as part of the village.
• Speak to the Village Boy at Template:Navi.
• Continue to the meeting at Template:Navi.

Reputation Milestones

• 1,000: Continue the main story and access Asad's basic services
• 2,000: Unlock Asad's Rachel teleport for 1 Amethyst Fragment
• 3,000: Unlock a Smelting Box exchange tier
• 4,000: Unlock the higher Smelting Box exchange tier
• 5,000: Some daily quests reward one extra Amethyst Fragment

Main Story After 1,000 Reputation

1. Speak to the Village Boy at Template:Navi.
2. Speak to Suad at Template:Navi.
3. Hear the four opinions:
   • Radical Man: Template:Navi
   • Native Old Man: Template:Navi
   • Passionate Old Man: Template:Navi

4. Return to Suad and complete the meeting.
5. Speak to Miriam at Template:Navi.
6. Investigate the armed villagers at Template:Navi.

8. Select the password Smelly Dandelion.
9. Go to Dandelion at Template:Navi.
10. Meet Maram at Template:Navi.
11. Complete the Thor Gunsu Base story instance.
12. Return to Template:Navi.
13. Examine the goods at Template:Navi.
14. Speak to the villagers near Template:Navi.
15. Go to Template:Navi and complete A Gathering Place of Wolves.
16. Speak to Niren at Template:Navi.
17. Meet the group at Template:Navi.
18. Speak to Ira and complete the High Priest's Villa instance.
19. Continue inside the temple near Template:Navi.
20. Speak to Miriam and Elly's Figure to finish Episode 18.

2. Bring 1 Meat (517).
3. Train Boksil and return to Scania.

Ahab's Request

Transporting Goods

1. Bring 1 Tough Vine (7197) and repair the cart. Success is random; the vine is consumed only on success.
2. Inspect the cart at Template:Navi.
3. Find Camille at Template:Navi and complete the battle event.
4. Return near Template:Navi.
5. Recover cargo at:

6. Return to Hazar.

Checking Traps for Food

1. Gather 5 trapped items from trap points in Gray Wolf Forest.
2. A failed or used trap becomes available again after about 60 seconds.
3. Return to Eruin.

First reward: 20 Amethyst Fragments, 100 Reputation, EXP. Daily reward: 3 Amethyst Fragments, 30 Reputation, EXP.

Firewind Kite Hunting

NPC: Ahir, Template:Navi

1. Defeat 30 Firewind Kites.
2. Return to Ahir.

Childhood Friends

1. Find Horim at Template:Navi.
2. Escort him through Template:Navi, Template:Navi, Template:Navi, Template:Navi, and Template:Navi.
3. Finish at Template:Navi.

Picking Half Flowers

Requirement: Base Level 170+ Start: Event near Template:Navi, then Mejai at Template:Navi.

Practice and tree answers:

• Cut at 20 degrees
• Leave 4 leaves
• Pour 30 ml water
• Add 6 grams secret powder

Rock answers:

• 40 degrees, 2 leaves, 50 ml, 2 grams

L-type answers:

• 30 degrees, 4 leaves, 40 ml, 4 grams

Water answers:

• 10 degrees, 8 leaves, 20 ml, 8 grams

Wrong answers shorten the Half Flower rental duration. Deliver it before it withers.

Gather Opinions in Rachel

NPC: Junok, Template:Navi Requirement: Base Level 170+ and sufficient Episode 18 progress.

1. Accept the quest.
2. Speak to the randomly selected 3 natives and 3 immigrants shown in the quest window.
3. Return to Junok.

First reward: 10 Amethyst Fragments and EXP. Daily reward: 3 Amethyst Fragments and EXP.

Episode 18 to Episode 19

After completing Episode 18, speak to the Northern Expedition Liaison at Template:Navi. The liaison sends you to the Episode 19 Officer near Template:Navi.

Troubleshooting

NPC does not appear

• Complete the previous quest step.
• Check the quest window.
• Equip Mini Elly when requested.
• Keep Mini Elly in inventory when instructed.
• Free inventory slots and weight.
• Walk over the exact coordinate because some NPCs appear through OnTouch triggers.
• Relog if the client has not refreshed the NPC state.

Story does not continue in Gray Wolf Village

Earn 1,000 Gray Wolf Village Reputation, then speak to the Village Boy at Template:Navi.

Daily quest unavailable

Wait until the server's daily reset. Some quests use a separate cooldown quest that must expire first.
