The GladiusRO Custom Episode 19 Expedition is an account-wide adventure system featuring randomized daily missions, difficult weekly challenges, exploration activities, reputation progression, and the Isgard Field Codex.

Unlike traditional quest boards, players normally cannot select a particular daily adventure. The Expedition Officer assigns one eligible adventure randomly from the missions currently available to the account.

Expedition Officer Location

NPC Location Coordinates
GladiusRO Custom EP19 Prontera 147, 160

Speak to the GladiusRO Custom EP19 Expedition Officer in Prontera to access the Episode 19 expedition system.

The officer provides access to:

  • Random Adventures
  • Random Weekly Isgard Challenge
  • Isgard Field Codex
  • Ice Castle Reputation
  • Expedition Status
  • Warp to Snake God's Warmth I

Entry Requirements

Before entering the custom Episode 19 expedition system, the account must complete:

  • Episode 16
  • Episode 17
  • Episode 18

Each episode can be completed either:

  • Manually through the normal storyline, or
  • By using the appropriate Episode Clear Ticket

For manual Episode 17 completion, both of the following are required:

  • Episode 17.1 final quest completed
  • Episode 17.2 main storyline completed

If any requirement is missing, the Expedition Officer will display the completion status of Episodes 16, 17, and 18.

How Random Adventures Work

  1. Speak to the Expedition Officer in Prontera.
  2. Select Receive Random Adventure.
  3. Read the explanation carefully.
  4. Select Accept unknown adventure.
  5. The officer randomly selects one eligible mission.
  6. The mission is revealed only after acceptance.
  7. Complete the assigned objectives.
  8. Return to the Expedition Officer to claim the sealed reward.

Important rules:

  • Only one Random Adventure assignment can be active at a time.
  • Players cannot choose their assignment.
  • Players cannot reroll an accepted assignment.
  • Available assignments depend on Base Level, daily completion records, and cooldowns.
  • Most daily missions are limited to once per account per day.
  • Abandoning a mission clears its current mission progress.
  • An abandoned mission may become available again if its daily completion reward has not been claimed.
  • The daily completion record is generally applied when the reward is claimed.
  • Exact random rewards are normally revealed only after completion.

Quest Progress Display

Different mission types display progress differently.

Quest Window Missions

Some official hunting missions appear in the Quest Window. These include missions such as:

  • Episode 19 Expedition
  • Isgard Elite Suppression
  • Heart Hunter Emergency
  • Mana Core Research
  • Moryara Seaweed Hunt
  • Isgard Research Recovery

Kill progress for supported hunting objectives is also displayed in the chat window after each credited kill.

Script-Controlled Adventures

Some custom adventures do not appear in the normal Quest Window.

For these missions:

  • Progress is displayed in the chat window.
  • The Expedition Officer shows the current objective.
  • Hidden checkpoints advance automatically when the character walks near them.
  • Players should return to the officer if they are unsure of the next objective.

Material Collection

Material-collection missions display compact progress notifications while hunting.

Inventory-based objectives only count materials currently carried by the character. Do not sell, store, trade, or consume required materials before submitting the mission.

The Expedition Officer randomly selects one of three weekly operations:

  1. Tough Weekly Isgard Hunt
  1. Dangerous Target Chain
  1. Isgard Defense

Players cannot select or reroll the weekly challenge.

Abandoning a weekly challenge:

  • Clears all weekly progress
  • Does not apply the seven-day cooldown

The cooldown begins only after the weekly reward is claimed.

Tough Weekly Isgard Hunt

Complete both objectives:

  • Eliminate the assigned monster
  • Recover the assigned mission material

The monster, material, kill quantity, and material quantity are randomized.

Mission materials have a chance to be recovered from the assigned target while the weekly challenge is active.

Required mission materials are removed when claiming the reward.

Dangerous Target Chain

Complete four sequential hunting stages.

Each stage assigns:

After clearing a stage, check the chat message and return to the officer to warp to the next target.

Isgard Defense

Defend Isgard through four escalating waves.

Each wave has:

  • An increasingly difficult kill requirement

Complete all four waves and return to the officer.

Weekly Reward Categories

The sealed weekly reward may include:

  • Mission Points
  • Ice Castle Reputation
  • Snow Flowers
  • Base EXP
  • Job EXP

Exact values are revealed only after claiming.

Abandoning an Adventure

Most active assignments include an abandon option.

When an adventure is abandoned:

  • The current assignment is removed.
  • Script-controlled progress is cleared.
  • Hunting progress connected to that assignment may be removed.
  • Exploration checkpoints are reset.
  • No completion reward is granted.
  • Daily or weekly completion cooldowns are normally not applied.

For inventory collection missions, abandoning the mission usually does not remove items already carried. However, those items will not count as mission progress until the corresponding mission is active again.

Troubleshooting

I cannot access the Expedition Officer's menu

Make sure Episodes 16, 17, and 18 have been completed manually or through their respective Clear Tickets.

No Random Adventure is available

Possible reasons include:

  • Base Level is too low.
  • Eligible daily missions were already completed.
  • A special mission is under cooldown.
  • Another Random Adventure is still active.
  • The account must wait until the next daily reset.

My mission does not appear in the Quest Window

Some custom adventures are script-controlled and do not use the official Quest Window.

Check:

  • Chat progress messages
  • The Expedition Officer's mission menu
  • The current warp option
  • Hidden checkpoint notifications

A checkpoint does not activate

Make sure that:

  • The correct adventure is active.
  • You are visiting the assigned region.
  • Earlier checkpoints were completed first.
  • You are following the randomized route order.
  • You walk around the stated landmark instead of standing on blocked scenery.

For the Exploration Survey, use Show next checkpoint guide at the Expedition Officer.

My kills are not counting

Check that:

  • The correct assignment is active.
  • You are killing the exact assigned monster.
  • You are on the correct mission stage.
  • You are hunting on the required map when the mission has a map restriction.
  • The required kill quantity has not already been completed.
  • Another character or party member is not receiving the credited kill.

I cannot claim my reward

Check the following:

  • Make enough space in the inventory.
  • Reduce character weight.
  • Make sure all required mission materials are still in the inventory.
  • Reduce carried Zeny if the character is close to the maximum limit.
  • Return using the same account that accepted the assignment.

My weekly timer has not started

The seven-day weekly cooldown begins only after the weekly reward is claimed.

Abandoning the weekly operation does not start the cooldown.

Recommended Player Routine

  1. Speak to the Expedition Officer in Prontera.
  2. Check Expedition Status.
  3. Claim the daily Codex reputation supply if available.
  4. Accept a Random Adventure.
  5. Follow the officer's warp and objective instructions.
  6. Watch the chat window for progress.
  7. Complete and claim the sealed reward.
  8. Check the Isgard Field Codex for newly recorded species.
  9. If Base Level 220 or higher, work on the Random Weekly Isgard Challenge.
  10. Monitor Ice Castle Reputation and progress toward the next rank.

Important Notes

  • All daily and weekly limits are account-wide.
  • Most reward values are intentionally concealed and randomized.
  • Mission assignments cannot be rerolled.
  • The Random Adventure system only chooses from missions currently eligible for the account.
  • Weekly challenges become available again seven days after reward claim.
  • Heart Hunter Emergency becomes available again seven days after reward claim.
  • Exploration routes and hidden checkpoints must be completed in the correct order.
  • The Isgard Field Codex records credited kills account-wide.
  • Some missions use the Quest Window, while others display progress through chat messages.
  • Always return to the Expedition Officer after completing the final objective.
