Constellation Tower is a Level 240+ party instance with randomized monster floors, optional checkpoint bosses, and final encounters against Naght Sieger or Betelgeuse.

Important: Regular tower monsters and fifth-floor checkpoint bosses do not receive special direct drops from this instance script. The main rewards come from final-boss NPC dialogue and Betelgeuse treasure boxes.

Tower Progression

  • Floors contain randomized monsters selected from monster IDs 20998 to 21046.
  • Every fifth floor also summons one random boss selected from IDs 21325 to 21358.
  • Defeat all required regular monsters to unlock the next portal.
  • The fifth-floor random boss is optional and is not required to unlock the floor.
  • Only the party leader can activate floor portals and important route choices.
  • The tower continues to Floor 75.

Monster Drop Information

The tower's regular monsters do not automatically drop items from their original field versions.

  • Regular floor monsters may drop nothing directly.
  • Random bosses on every fifth floor may also drop nothing directly.
  • The instance script has no reward event for killing the optional fifth-floor boss.
  • Main rewards are provided through boss-completion dialogue and treasure boxes.
  • Manually using @monster 20994 only spawns Betelgeuse. It does not activate the instance phases, quest checks, reward calculation, or treasure boxes.

Floor Skip System

The party leader may offer Meteorite Dust to the brazier to skip four floors.

Skip use Meteorite Dust required
First 50
Second 75
Third 100
Fourth 125
Fifth 150
Additional uses Previous cost + 25

Meteorite Dust is item ID 1000372. Skipping saves time, but the same item is also used to adjust Betelgeuse's difficulty.

Route Decisions

Floor 25

The party leader may enter the dimensional gap to challenge Naght Sieger, or continue climbing. Entering the gap ends the climbing route for that run.

Floor 50

The party leader may enter the dimensional gap to challenge Betelgeuse, or continue to Floor 75.

Floor 75

The party is sent to the final-boss area. All five Betelgeuse abilities begin at 3 stars, with a starting total difficulty of 600%.

Naght Sieger Route

Monster ID
Naght Sieger 20996
Thorny Skeleton 20997

Naght Sieger summons four Thorny Skeletons during battle. After winning, speak with Leticia to receive:

  • 3x item ID 1000373
  • 1x item ID 1000396

These are scripted NPC rewards, not normal drops from Naght Sieger.

Betelgeuse Route

Monster ID
Betelgeuse 20994
Betelgeuse's Soul 20995

Battle Mechanics

  • Multiple phases: Betelgeuse is recreated between combat phases.
  • Recovery: The boss periodically restores HP according to the Recovery level.
  • Souls: Betelgeuse's Souls increase the boss's RES and MRES. Defeat them quickly.
  • Moving traps: Traps inflict percentage-based Max HP damage. Later phases are more dangerous.
  • Arena restriction: Pulling the boss outside the intended area can reset its position and trigger powerful attacks.
  • Party check: If a registered member leaves the boss map, the boss may become temporarily damage-immune.
  • Death check: The boss may gain temporary attack immunity while a registered party member is dead.

Recommended Preparation

  • Bring healing and recovery supplies.
  • Keep the party together.
  • Avoid the moving trap lines.
  • Eliminate Betelgeuse's Souls quickly.
  • Do not lure Betelgeuse outside the arena.
  • Assign a party member to call out traps and phase changes.

Goddess Altar Difficulty System

The altar controls five Betelgeuse abilities:

  • HP
  • ATK
  • Recovery
  • Resistance
  • Trap

Higher stars make the boss stronger and increase the total reward score.

Ability 1 Star 2 Stars 3 Stars 4 Stars 5 Stars
HP 15% 30% 45% 60% 75%
ATK 20% 40% 60% 80% 100%
Recovery 30% 60% 90% 120% 150%
Resistance 50% 100% 150% 200% 250%
Trap 85% 170% 255% 340% 425%

The total difficulty is the sum of all five ability values.

Altar Options

  • Randomize abilities: Costs 20 Meteorite Dust. Floor 50 rolls Sealed to 3 stars; Floor 75 rolls 3 to 5 stars. Existing rolls are replaced.
  • Maximize one ability: Costs 150 Meteorite Dust and requires the feature to be unlocked. Maximum is 3 stars on the Floor 50 route and 5 stars on the Floor 75 route.
  • Seal one ability: Costs 300 Meteorite Dust and requires the feature to be unlocked. The selected ability becomes Sealed on the Floor 50 route or 3 stars on the Floor 75 route.

Betelgeuse Direct Completion Reward

After the final phase, speak with Betelgeuse to receive the direct reward. Do not leave immediately.

  • Item ID 1000372: 2 + (Total Difficulty / 30)
  • Item ID 1000373: 5 + (Total Difficulty / 50)
  • Item ID 1000397: 1 when Total Difficulty is at least 200%; otherwise 0

The script uses whole-number division, so fractions are discarded.

Total difficulty Item 1000372 Item 1000373 Item 1000397
0% 2 5 0
200% 8 9 1
300% 12 11 1
400% 15 13 1
600% 22 17 1
850% 30 22 1
1000% 35 25 1

Treasure Boxes

After Betelgeuse is defeated, treasure boxes are enabled according to the total difficulty.

Open every available box before leaving. The box creates items on the ground, so pick them up manually.

  • Approximately one normal treasure-box step is calculated for every 50% total difficulty.
  • Up to five first-grade stat boxes are enabled first.
  • Higher totals enable second-grade boxes.
  • 400% enables a special treasure box.
  • 600% enables another special treasure box.
  • 850% enables an additional material box.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why do regular monsters drop nothing?

This implementation generates them for floor progression and does not add direct scripted drops. Rewards are concentrated in final-boss NPC dialogue and treasure boxes.

Why does the fifth-floor boss drop nothing?

The checkpoint boss is optional. Its kill event intentionally does nothing, and the floor can be unlocked without defeating it.

Why does a manually spawned Betelgeuse give no reward?

@monster 20994 spawns only the database monster. It does not launch the instance phases, quests, difficulty score, final dialogue, or treasure-box event.

How do I receive the proper Betelgeuse rewards?

Complete the tower route, defeat every Betelgeuse phase, speak with Betelgeuse afterward, open all enabled treasure boxes, and collect their ground items before exiting.
